It’s not that uncommon. Went ahead and made a video on a softer look than this.

In the photos it seems to be pretty bold, but once you try it out and soften up the eyes it’s a pretty combo to do!
I do love the glossy eye and slick backness of all the photos but again, I tried to put a little lens blur on it all. Either way, I had fun creating it!
