Today I have stepped into the #pincommunity ! It was always something I wanted to be a part of but never thought I could. Until today.
I had designed these pins a while ago and in my head I had been talking myself out of it.”not good enough” “why waste your time?” “who is gonna buy it?” BUT THEN I told myself to shush and JUST DO IT! Also because I was just tired of working for other people and not getting the chance to be creative. I needed an outlet and something to work towards.
It all started with me watching the Netflix series, THE OA and binge watching and then going onto ETSY to search for some OA pins to add to my mini collection. Well… There wasn’t anything. Really, there was nothing. (currently 3/10/17 There are some art/sketches and a pillow case) Still not much and nothing I could wear out. I sketched out Prarie doing one of the five movements and sent it out along with 4 other designs that I asked my friends on Instagram to vote for.
As soon as I received my pins I went out to take photos (might not be the best because the sun was going down and my baby was still asleep!LOL) I had a feeling I wouldn’t get much time to shoot anyways so I went along with it and posted it up on my ETSY site the next day.
Within a day I got an order. The next day I got two pin orders. Today I had my studio sample sale in DTLA and I had 7 transactions and 5 were just PINS!! I might just turn out to be the PIN lady and not the PAPER lady I was dreaming of! LOL
Either way, I am super excited about how it came out (and have a few more idea’s in the works) and wanted to share them with you! These went up three days ago. Please take a peek and let me know what you think! Would really love to hear from you.
If you get a chance, stop by my ETSY shop and give it some love! Pin it, like it, save it!
Quick! You have one day left!! What to do?
Here are some idea’s you can make today-tomorrow. Or maybe make it together with mom! Would be a nice way to take her mind off things and a little down time to catch up!!

Looks and should smell so nice! It’s basically mixing some things you have in the kitchen with some little things you purchase at the store. Not too hard
I am constantly pinning new projects I want to try out and instead of just keeping it up on my board I thought it would be fun to share them weekly (or bi-weekly) with you! This way we can DIY together or maybe it will spark a little inspiration for something similar. Also wanted to post during the beginning of the week because if you are going to try these DIY’s over the weekend then you are gonna need a little bit of prep time…Wether its ordering it on Amazon or heading out the store first thing Saturday morning! Here are just a few I found this week that got me excited:
1. Hide jewels or other valuables in this Crystal Knob Boxes Homey Oh My
2. Re-vamp your dinner table with Black and White Printed Napkins I Spy DIY

I am super excited to be working with the Ace Paint Studio on the 31 Days Of Color campaign. Been wanting to do a painting DIY for the longest time and this just gave me the best opportunity to do so! Before I started the project I went down to my local Ace Hardware store to see what the Paint Studio was all about and thats where I got really inspired! Going to The Paint Studio at Ace is like going to your neighbor. Seeing all the beautiful colors I started to pick the color cards and mix and match them. I actually bought another jar of paint, but am going to save it for another project!…that will be in another post! lol
I have been finding all these amazing printable DIY’s online and thought I would share so you can spend your weekend creating something! Finding time to create and do artsy things is the most luxurious, isn’t it?
If you make them or not, they are totally Pintrest friendly.
I just finished a Heart Friendship Bracelet workshop with UO Space15Twenty tonight. I was lucky enough to host it and hang out with some amazing crafty people!
I got to show them how to make these cuties (I plan to make a video soon) When I was practicing these myself I thought it would be nice to have a card to go with it that said something that you could gift to a friend.
SOOOO I decided to make it!
I have made three printouts for you today, for free! So I hope you print it out and give it a try. It doesnt have to be for bracelets, you can stick candy, photos? Memories? Anything you want、really !
Thank you again to everyone who came out!! You guys are awesome sauce!!
Just a little idea for that special someone, or if you want to treat yourself to some glittery sweetness, this is the chocolate for you!
I bought some edible glitter in the colors pink, purple and gold and placed it in the candy jewel mold. Advice here is to use a glitter/food duster brush to get the sides and all.( I found out afterwards! whoopsy!) Then you melt the chocolate. The one I got was super easy to do in the microwave. And using a spoon place it in the mold and tap the chocolate into the mold when its all placed. When you let the chocolate cool, dont place it in the fridge or freezer, it will create bubbles or add moisture. Just let it cool in room temperature.
After I took them out the glitter wasn’t on the sides so I went back and added some more glitter!lol The more the merrier, right!
Then go ahead and box those sweets and give it to that special someone! Hopefully you will give it a try and let me know how it turned out!!
