I have been doing freelance work for about 13 years now and you would think that I would be used to the fact that every opportunity I get will always end ( no company will hire a freelancer forever) But when I do have to say good bye it always does scare me. I get frightened on things like “how will I pay the bills next month” or “who am I going to work with next?”
So the other day I had to walk away from another company. From the start it didn’t feel right but I tried to make it work and some companies just don’t understand the importance of building a social media presence or building that community. And there is only so much one freelancer can do! Good Bye, it was time.
Before that though I had a high by meeting the daughter of one of my favorite companies in Japan! She was sweet and we talked about paper goods which always gets me happy. Maybe it was all a sign that its time for me to go full force with my little shop and build it into something!
Technically this is my little ones 2nd Easter, but it was his first to meet the Easter Bunny and to look for Easter eggs…you know, the bunny side of things! This vlog was at a Fashion Mama’s event at The Grove sponsored by Lauduree(yummm). They had little DIY craft tables , bunny petting area and complimentary Bunny photo sessions. It was a fun filled day and we took a lot of photos of E. Definitely a day we will be adding to our album!
Thank you Fashion Mama’s, The Grove, Laduree for having us!
I didn’t want to wait last minute. Had to have a new planner now because I felt like I needed to get things more organized and whats better than starting it with a brand new planner?!

So far I have only left little E with family for a day, maybe 4 times. They weren’t even full days. (So hard to stay away from my little nugget!) This time schedule was made for my husband. It doesn’t go exactly this way, but it gives you an idea of what his naps would look like.
Like I said in the video, every month is different. I am not strict on naps, kinda go with the flow kinda mom (BUT always making sure he goes down AT LEAST every 2-2.5 hours)
As I am writing this he is crying in his crib trying to fall asleep. The sleep training has started and like everyone says, night time training is waaay easier than the afternoon naps! Now that he knows how to grab things (like his crib) and stand up, he stands and cries..sometimes I think he even forgets how to sit 🙁
Let’s see how our schedules will change next month!!
