20 Weeks and 1st Ultrasound

Finally got to meet our little boy! Since my pregnancy has been smooth and I decided to have him at home, I didn’t have an ultrasound until later in my pregnancy. 20 weeks! It did feel like forever ( I saw some other friends go in right away and did feel a bit jelly at times) BUT it was worth the wait!

Wanna keep reading and see more photos….(this way)

We didn’t really know what to expect. We knew we would get to see him but never thought it would be so emotional!Being an expectant parent you already start to worry about little things and just want your baby/child to be healthy. One of the first things the doctor said when she say the baby was that he was a “normal and healthy looking baby” that already made us feel so relieved! The rest of the time its us crying on how perfect and cute he is! lol
I did ask as many questions as I could and as I could think of! Before we knew it the appointment was over and we were just wanting to stay and hang out with him some more!

I am not sure when my next ultrasound will be. My husband and I talk about going in to the 3D (4D EVEN!) just so we can hang out with the little one and see him move around. But I am going into my 3rd trimester soon and we might miss it with both of us being so busy!
Next on our agenda are:
+Starting a registry (anything you recommend?)
+Plan the nursery (needs to happen sooner than later)
+Plan a baby shower (thinking coed one)
+Start childbirth classes (dun dun duuuuuuunnnn~)
